Why Doesn't the US Government Bailout Boeing - Their Union Wants More Money Too
03.06 // 0 komentar // Richard Max // Category: bailout , Chrysler CEO , doesn government bailout boeing union wants money , GM , UAW , Union Wants More Money , US Automaker , US Government Bailout Boeing , usa //It seems that the unions, especially the UAW puts full-court at Camp Obama and the Democratic dominated Congress to get the bailout package did for GM. Meanwhile, Chrysler's executive director came to the plate states without funding or bail out U.S. automakers can not survive. Many taxpayers say,
Well, let them succeed, if you do not automakers American public is not building the right kind of car, why would they bail out now ?"
Apparently, this is how some 76% of public feels when it comes to the U.S. automaker bailout and even though the President-elect Obama promised to Detroit and the union will support them in whatever they need to ensure that economic recovery in the region occurred in the shortest possible time. Well, Obama is off the hook by now, because he has not the president until he actually takes office.
Meanwhile, U.S. automakers and the UAW are not the only industry that wants to have a bailout, there is the Boeing company that wants to have money and their union will do everything to get better benefits and higher salaries, even if they quit the company the latest high-tech fuel efficient jet aircraft.
Some free market thinkers believe that it is time to allow for inefficiencies caused by organized labor to reap what they have sewn, and if that means allowing or two cars to fail, so be it. Does this mean that they are in favor of union busting? Well, yes and no. Yes, because they would like to see competition as a rule, and no, because nobody in America wants to see anyone lose their life. Think about it.
